Antifreeze works through its glycol base: freezing point and boiling point set the protection window, and water content and purity decide how far the inhibitor package can do its job. Base fluid is supplied against the plant's incoming specification, so the inhibitor package starts from a known water content.
Coolant uses an aqueous glycol base as the heat-transfer medium, where a high boiling point and good heat transfer suit HVAC, chemical plant and data-centre cooling. We supply base fluid against the system specification.
Water-glycol hydraulic fluids are built on a glycol base that keeps the fluid flowing at low ambient temperature, while the inhibitor package, not the base alone, carries the corrosion protection. Base fluid ships against the fluid maker's specification; the inhibitor package stays on their side of the split.
Deicing fluid removes ice from aircraft surfaces and runways, and the glycol base it is built on needs consistent water content so the dilution ratio stays predictable on site. The fluid maker's specification fixes the water content and the assay tolerance we ship to, not a catalogue range.
Downstream synthesis inherits whatever the intermediate carries, so a consistent assay and low impurity levels matter more than a headline purity figure. The buyer's own specification sets the assay limits we ship, not a catalogue range.
